Can I trust Weaverville HealthWise to fill my prescriptions correctly?

The answer is YES!

Each member of our staff is highly trained with years of experience. 

Our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are highly trained and ready to give each customer personal and friendly service. 

We have four Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technicians; each has between five and twenty-five years of pharmacy experience!

Staff members attend meetings, continuing education classes and training seminars on site regularly. Weaverville HealthWise requires far more training for technicians than most other pharmacies.

Your prescription is never filled by an unqualified or inexperienced person. 

Does Weaverville HealthWise accept my prescription insurance?

We accept almost all insurance plans, including Medicaid, NC Health Choice, Tricare and most NC Medicare D plans.

What are your hours?

Weaverville HealthWise is open Monday thru Friday 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM



Will I pay more for my prescriptions at Weaverville HealthWise than at a chain store?

Prescription co-pays will be the same here as any other pharmacy and we offer VERY competitive prices on retail products.

If you have prescription insurance or a prescription discount card the insurance company sets the price, not the pharmacy. We are also a member of the EPIC Network of pharmacies, allowing us to participate in prescription drug plans from all over the United States.  If you received information from your insurance company listing drug stores and we are not on the list, that doesn't mean we do not accept your insurance.  Often insurance companies don't list independant pharmacies because they are not the same in every city/state.  

Our cash prices are also competitive. If a local pharmacy has a better price on a medication, we will gladly match it for you. We value each and every customer and never want to lose a customer because of the price of a drug.


Will Weaverville HealthWise have my drugs and supplies in stock when I need them?

We stock a large selection of brand name and generic drugs. Our automated reordering system helps us keep the medications our customers need in stock and have it available when you need it. 

We get orders in every day from our suppliers. If it isn't in stock, it will be the following weekday morning. 

We have access to some of the largest wholesale warehouses in the United States and stock or can get almost any product.

We can special order many products with  most arriving the next morning.
